JOB SUMMARY: Drive the sales or new products (frames, stretchers, maternal products, furniture, as well as IT type communications and patient flow/tracking products for hospital personnel) and rental products for assigned market territory with sales ranging from approx. $3M to $9M. Provide overall leadership to assigned sales specialists (personnel with expertise in clinical applications that require an in-depth technical understanding of the application and/or the patient outcomes) and team with local services leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for all Hill-Rom products and programs within the assigned territory and account base.

Function:  Marketing Pay Type:  Exempt Position Number:  10538188 Mgr Assistant Product Employee Type:  Full Time Relocation:  No This position is responsible for assisting in the management of assigned product segments, to include: pricing development, which includes identifying and structuring consistent methods and models that incorporate market fluctuations and forecasts as inputs into cost basis; product knowledge, which includes familiarity with manufacturing and production processes and facilities, along with a broad knowledge base of raw material markets and ingredient meat costing; monthly financial forecasting, which includes projecting and analyzing actual product performance against objective in areas of volume, sell price, costing, margin, expenses, etc.; development of annual budget; periodic information analysis, in regards to sales velocity, customer profitability, product costing, item mix, etc.; advising field sales organization on segment related issues, including trends, raw material outlook, product availability, and costs; work with R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to maximize product improvement and optimization of product costs, along with development of new product initiatives; review of demand forecasts; work with Inter-Company interests in developing incremental business; perform any other responsibilities as the need arises.
